A Decade of Impactful Media Development Work

Mediastan is a showcase of all the effective programmes, coalitions, partnerships and initiatives that International Media Support (IMS) has developed and facilitated in Pakistan since 2014 to support the safety of journalists, the professional development of independent media and the enabling environment for freedom of expression.

The Mediastan website curates knowledge products, technical resources, impact documentation, information on thematic areas, updates on ongoing projects and the advocacy actions of the multistakeholder coalitions of change that altogether drive the media development work of IMS and its local partners in the country.

We also hope to serve as the community of practice for our national, regional and international peers, allies and supporters. Mediastan is designed to be a gateway for journalists, researchers, academics, activists, CSOs, the tech sector, multilateral agencies and media development donors to learn about efforts to improve the media system in Pakistan.
