From an image sorting tool to video editing workflows and a staff management system, Pakistani journalists and editors of digital news organisations designed innovative AI-assisted solutions for problems facing their newsrooms at a design thinking workshop.
The workshop titled The Integration Room was organised by IMS, Mediastan and partner IRADA from 24 to 26 July. The training was attended by 10 journalists from newsrooms across the country. The participants included co-founders, editors and producers.
The training was developed in light of the findings of the needs assessment supplied by the AI & Public Interest Journalism report.
